Early morning quake felt in Krugersdorp
Did you feel the earthquake early this morning?

The second earthquake in three weeks hit Gauteng in the early morning hours of today (22 August).
By the time most people realised that their slumber is being disturbed by another quake, it was already over.
According to the US Geological Survey’s website the earthquake that hit Gauteng at approximately 1am measured 4,6 on the Richter Scale.
The earthquake is alleged to have occurred 12km west of Orange Farm.
The news has not received any reports of damage or accidents caused by the early morning quake.
The previous earthquake that occurred on 5 August measured 5,5 and left a 31-year-old man dead.
