Bekker’s math star

David Marsden from Bekker Primary School wrote the District Maths competition in May.

He attained first place in the Grade 4 category.

The West Rand District coordinator then requested that he participate in the Gauteng Maths Olympiad, which took place on 30 August.

David once again has impressed the community with his maths abilities.

He received first place in the Grade 4 category A Olympiad.

David’s determination, love for maths and parental support certainly will hold him in good stead for next year’s competition.

Bekker Primary School’s staff and pupils are very proud of him.
