Noordheuwel’s own dancing sensation Thato Dithebe is taking the international hip-hop scene by storm and that at the young age of 13.
After having danced his way across the globe, Thato this time made name in Bochum, Germany when he took part in the International Dance Organisation (IDO) World Hip-Hop and Electric Boogie Championship at the end of September.
IDO is a world dance- and dance sport federation with a membership of over 90 nations, representing more than 250 000 dancers from six continents.
Thato ended in second place in the hip-hop 12 to 15 years solo battles and placed eight in the hip-hop solos.
The competition is attended by over 10 different countries in the world and Thato’s section had over 100 participants.
