Riding school hosts fun spring show
It was a day filled with fun, cheering and laughter.
Western Riding Academy, situated in the Cradle of Humankind, presented the “S” Spring Show with great enthusiasm.
Riders were dressed according to any “S” theme. Any outfit starting with an S was allowed. There were scary skeletons (maybe too scary), superb surgeons, sassy Spanish dancers, Smurfs and special super girls to name a few.
Riders from as young as two years old enjoyed the spring vibes and participated in the different Western classes.
The highlight of the day, 21 September, was when Malanda Steyn, Monument High School pupil, rode a bareback Reining pattern with Jelly Tot. Their ‘flower power’ was shown clearly around Jelly Tot’s pasterns to fit in with their sixties theme.
It was a day filled with fun, cheering and laughter. Riders from all the different schools in Krugersdorp attended the show.
The awesome horses and ponies were on their best behaviour to redeem their worthy prizes and receive a little treat afterwards as rewards.
