Early Christmas for Munsieville toddlers

Toddlers got treated to day of gifts, good food and ice cream.

Christmas came early for a group of children from the Little Angels Educare Creche in Munsieville thanks to the Loly (Love Others Love Yourself) outreach group. It is a Krugersdorp outreach ministry group that serves the community in various areas of need.

Last Saturday (25 October) the group visited the crèche where Elsie Sithebe takes care of 36 children between the ages of two and six years, to hand over gifts and treats.

“The purpose of the visit was to show the toddlers and their caretaker some support and love, and to remind them of their worth,” says Loly manager Corne Botma.

Youngsters from the crèche were not the only ones receiving; they also gave something back to the group by treating them to song and dance items that they rehearsed beforehand.

Pastor Danie Junior from Loly personally handed over a gift of thanks to Sithebe for the work she does among the young children of Munsieville.

An extra treat – the highlight of the day for many of the youngsters – was to have their faces painted according to cartoon themes.

A nutritional lunch followed, and then the children received and opened their wrapped gifts.
