Fun run for children’s home
UniCollege raised a total of R7 350 for The Bethany House Children's Home with their charity fun run.
It was a fun day out in the sun when 147 runners participated in UniCollege’s first charity fun run event covering a total distance of five kilometres.
The fun run, which saw youngsters and adults participate, was held to raise funds for The Bethany House Children’s Home in Monument.
“The day was a great success and following this we are planning to have this event annually as a way to raise money for different charities from the Krugersdorp area,” says Natalie Franklin, marketing and public relations officer of UniCollege.

Runners had to pay a registration fee of R30 of which an additional R20 was donated by UniCollege which helped them to raise a total of R7 350 for The Bethany House.
The Theunissen family was ready to jump away at the starting point and says that they have decided to participate as it is a good way for them to spend some quality family time together and keep fit in the process.
