Local showjumpers excel

Kirsty van der Merwe, instructor and owner of Litchfield Equestrian Centre is very proud of her show jumping students.

Five showjumpers from Litchfield Equestrian Centre did exceptionally well at the Interschools Competition this year.

Nule Steyn represented Laerskool Dr Havinga and achieved her Gauteng colours. Jean-Marie Carstens represented Hoƫrskool Monument and came first in her class at nationals.

Not only did she received Gauteng colours, she also received South African colours. Armandt le Roux and Liane Brits represented Laerskool Krugersdorp-Noord and both achieved Gauteng West colours.

Melissa van Niewenhuizen represented Hoƫrskool Noordheuwel and also achieved her Gauteng colours. Kirsty van der Merwe, instructor and owner of Litchfield Equestrian Centre is very proud of her students.

She thanks the parents for the time they put in for lessons and shows.
