Missing woman found in Japan
She lost contact with her family and it is not clear how she ended up being arrested in Japan.
A 36-year-old woman from Krugersdorp who went missing was found in a Japanese prison.
According to the facebook group page created for the missing Marilyn Massyn, she disappeared shortly after arriving in Abu Dhabi, capital of the United Arab Emirates in late October.
According to the page she was travelling with a friend at the time of her disappearance. She then lost contact with her family and it is not clear how she ended up being arrested in Japan.
The Department of International Relations and Cooperation is updating Massyn’s family about her situation.
The news has made contact with a family friend via facebook for more details but Massyn’s mother declined to comment.
