Woman of Substance celebrates a year of greatness at local entertainment hub, Silverstar.
Powerful women from around the West Rand stepped out in style to celebrate a year of giving.
The theme for this year’s Woman of Substance Ball was Dancing with the Stars, which gave guests the opportunity to meet and greet local actors, actresses and Mr South Africa 2014 finalists.
The lavish event took place at Silverstar in the beautifully decorated ball room.
Local actress and author Petro Leranjo was chosen as the new Brand Ambassador Woman of Substance 2015 while celebrities were auctioned off for a dance, all in the name of charity.
Guests were dazzled by celebrities such as David Rees, best know for his role as Nic in the soapie Egoli, Carlo McFarlane (Backstage) and former Mrs South Africa finalist Cindy Seeber who will be seen soon on the silver screen in the Ballade vir ‘n Enkeling movie.
Beauty kings and queens such as Miss Roodepoort 2013 Jessica van Heerden together with three Mr SA 2014 finalists Clive Manstry, JP Liebenberg and Geo Botha joined in on the auction.
Local bodybuilding champion Katinka Kruger formed part of the auction and dance festivities. Entertainment for the night was provided by Eustace Wilken and Eleganza Voices.
