
Police investigation continues after a suspect briefly appeared in the Krugersdorp Magistrates’ Court yesterday (27 November).
He was arrested for driving under the influence and for being in possession of dagga.
Gloria Maswanganye, Hekpoort police spokesperson said the police spotted the 32-year-old while conducting patrols on the R563 Road.
“They spotted a white motor vehicle driving out of a farm in the area. The police stopped the vehicle and requesting permission to search his car.”
The police searched the vehicle and found opened beer bottles and dagga and was arrested immediately. He was detained at the Krugersdorp Police holding cells until his court appearance.
