Krugersdorp Police managed to arrest two drug runners during a general clean-up in Sivewright Street.
The police believe the runners were dealing in drugs.
After months of planning the drug squad embarked on an undercover operation in the drug hub of Krugersdorp. They sent in an undercover agent dressed like a sex worker to purchase drugs from foreigners who loiter on the streets corners.
According to Colonel Luke Enslin, the operation was a huge success as they managed to arrest two drug runners who sold illegal drugs to the undercover agent.
It is believed the drugs the agent bought is the street drug named Cat. This is one of many attempts by the Krugersdorp drug squad to rid the streets of drugs and their dealers.
