The news pays yet another visit to the drug capital of Krugersdorp in search for answers after an alleged sex worker was shot on 16 January.
As CPF members respond to a shot being fired late on Friday night in Wentworth Park, they found a wounded young woman on the sidewalk covered in blood.
Both CPF Sector 4 with the assistance from CPF Sector 8 members helped regulate late night traffic and helped with medical support before the arrival of paramedics.
It has been confirmed that the young woman is believed to be a Sivewright Street sex worker who was shot in the behind and left for dead in the street as the suspect drove off. The suspect is still unknown.
CPF Sector 4 members on the scene describes how blood marks on the street could be seen as she dragged her body across onto the sidewalk.
The shooting took place on the corner of Barrat Street and Main Reef Road.
Many bystanders stood wondering how the young ‘lady of the night’ found herself nearly killed not to far from Luipaard Street.
A case of attempted murder has been opened.
Although the identity of the alleged sex worker is not yet known, locals in Sivewright claim she’s new on the block.
