Body to be claimed at hospital

The man was found at the Tarlton Post Office on Tuesday 20 January.

The family of a deceased man believed to be in his mid 40s need to come forward and claim his body, urges Dr Yusuf Dadoo Hospital.

According to Lucky Matome, police spokesperson at Tarlton Police Station, paramedics collected the man near the Tarlton Post Office on Tuesday 20 January. He was wearing black/ grey trousers with a white shirt with light green stripes.

“We urge the community always to escort their loved ones whenever they are being taken to hospital. This will help the hospital to register the patient with the correct information and details.”

Matome said this will assist both the police and the hospital in tracing the family of the patient whenever there is a need.

If anyone has information about the deceased, they can contact the hospital on 011 951 6088 or 011 951 6090.
