Curro Krugersdorp mum about racial segregation
"Each Curro School is run independently from the others."
A Curro Private School in Pretoria (Roodeplaat) currently has the whole country talking about racial segregation.
It is alleged that they assign children to classes based on race. A group of parents signed a petition and demanded an explanation from the school.
The news contacted Lizanne Smith, the spokesperson of Curro Krugersdorp, about the situation in Pretoria.
Smith advised the news to speak directly to their head office because they are not allowed to talk to the media.
She did however say that each Curro School is run independently from the others.
Curro Holdings’ regional manager, André Pollard said, “It’s not because we would like to segregate the whites, it’s just because of friends. Children are able to make friends with children of their culture.”
