Have you seen Chanté?
She told her parents that she will be spending the night with a female friend.
A family from Burgershoop is worried sick after their daughter Chanté Furnace, 20, disappeared on Friday 30 January.
Elizabeth Ackerman said her daughter was last seen wearing khaki cargo pants and a pink T-shirt.
“I received information that she left with a man. I don’t have any other information as to her whereabouts.”
Ackerman said her daughter told her that she will be spending the night at a female friend who in turn told Ackerman that Chanté never arrived.
In the meantime Chanté, who is about 1,75m tall, has blue eyes and light brown hair, had allegedly also sold her cellphone.
“My husband Dirk has asked for leave from his employer so that we can go look for her. We don’t really have an idea where she might be and hope the community can be of assistance.”
In a separate case the 14-year-old Nikita Angelique Bekker, a pupil from HTS Nic Diederichs is still missing.
She disappeared almost two weeks ago from her home in Burgershoop and was last seen wearing a pink top, blue jeans and grey boots.
Information indicates that she has golden brown hair, is of average build, weighing at about 62kg and is 1,4m tall.
