A man from Kagiso was taken into police custody after allegedly murdering his wife.
The suspect was arrested on 29 January at his in-laws’ house in Kagiso Extension 1 after allegedly stabbing his wife.
Police were called to the scene where they found the suspect and arrested him.
“The victim sustained multiple stab wounds. Paramedics declared the woman dead on the scene,” commented Krugersdorp Police spokesperson Constable Tshepiso Mashale.
The 35-year-old suspect was due to appear in the Krugersdorp Magistrates’ Court on Monday 2 February where his case was to have been brought forward.
