Alleged witchcrafters disturb the peace

The News pays a visit to an alleged witchcrafter's house in Lewisham to investigate the strange allegations that surround this house.

More mystery surrounds the alleged witchcraft house in Lewisham.

Following a report published in the news earlier in January, a resident told about the strange behaviour of the occupants of the house.

The concerned resident whose identity is being withheld as she stays close by and fears that it may put her and her family’s the lives in danger, told the news more about the strange squatters that dwells there.

The house behind high walls and closed-off gates is believed to be a repossessed property and currently belongs to a bank. It is believed that the current occupants – foreign nationals – have been squatting on this property for some time.

The concerned resident claims not only is the condition of the house an eyesore for the community but the occupants have become a nuisance.

She claimed the occupants have been spotted bathing themselves in the garden since the electricity and possibly the water have been cut off.

Furthermore she believes that due to their unhygienic way of living, there is a rat epidemic in the yard that is spreading to the surrounding houses.

Some nights the occupants have several guests who sing and dance until the early morning hours, disturbing the peace in the neighbourhood.

The grass behind the house is metres high and she is worried as they frequently make big fires in the back yard.

After many futile attempts to get the local police to investigate the matter, it would seem that the squatters are there to stay as no one seems to be able to evict them.
