A bloody discovery?

Blood everywhere with no body (and nobody) in sight at a block of flats in Mindalore.

Concerned residents from the block of flats above the local pub, Fat Boys in Mindalore contacted the News after they made a bloody discovery.

It is alleged that there was a commotion at the flats in the early hours of the morning on 10 February.

“We heard a fight at 3.30am, but we did not want to get involved,” said one of the neighbours who refused to give their names.

Walking along the balcony of the flats one can see a trail of blood drops leading to one of the units.

There are also blood marks that look like the person who was bleeding was dragged to the flat.

A broken beer bottle and a bloody sponge was found in the doorway.

The window next to the door also has been smashed out.

The door was scattered with blood marks and broken as if it had been struck with an object. According to the neighbour there are many stories doing the rounds – from an attempted suicide to an assault or just a fall.

A concerned resident of the area told the News when he first saw the scene, the door was open but he was too scared to enter.

On the News’ arrival at the scene, the door was locked. It is believed the victim since has been taken to hospital.
