Krugersdorp police visited a local dagga house in Krugersdorp West and ended up arresting a suspect for possession and intention of dealing.
The police received the tip-off on 9 February and proceeded to the dagga hot spot.
Once they arrived at the house, they met up with a suspect and after searching the property they came across almost 4,1kg of dagga stashed in an unsuspecting hiding place.
The dagga, which is ready to be harvested and packed, was found stashed in a big bag of dog food.
The 30-year-old suspect was arrested on the spot.
“We want to thank the community for their tip-offs which helps the police combat drugs and crime in our neighbourhood,” boasts Constable Tshepiso Mashale, spokesperson for the Krugersdorp police station.
