The Kagiso Police Station have arrested a 42-year-old woman for possessing of a suspected stolen motor vehicle in Kagiso.
Solomon Sibiya, a police spokesperson said police were conducting routine patrols in and around the area when they received information about a white Nissan with registration numbers CC33HYGP.
Sibiya said the motor vehicle was parked at a certain address in central Kagiso and when police arrived they found the suspect who also introduced herself.
When questioned about the vehicle she told the police that her friend requested to leave it there for safe keeping.
Further police investigations showed that the motor vehicle was stolen in Johannesburg and that a case was opened.
The suspect was then arrested and already made a brief appearance in the Kagiso Magistrates’ Court.
