Murder suspects nabbed

The Muldersdrift police worked around the clock with information received from the community to make the arrest.

Two men made a brief appearance in the Krugersdorp Magistrates’ Court for murder.

In August last year police received a complaint at the Malatjie informal settlement in Muldersdrift and on arrival they noticed the body of a male lying in the middle of the road in a pool of blood.

Paramedics were called to the scene, but the victim was certified dead.

Warrant Officer Hitler Ngwenya, a police spokesperson said Muldersdrift Police Station’s Detective Sergeant Moraba conducted an intensive investigation and worked tirelessly around the clock with information he received from the community to assist him with making an arrest.

The assistant Station Commander Captain JJ Williamson appreciated the partnership policing between the members of the public and the police.
