KHS art department comes out tops – again

Well done to the Krugersdorp High School Art Department and their achievers.

For the second year in a row, Krugersdorp High Schools’ Visual Art Department obtained the best results in the district with a class average of 78 per cent in last year’s matric finals.

Head of Department, Grade 12 Visual Art and Design Educator Janine Gopper is over the moon with the phenomenal results achieved by the pupils. The top achiever for Visual Art was Michaela Cooper who achieved 94 per cent at the end of her Grade 12 year. Top Design student was Cameron Henning who obtained 92 per cent.

For the first time, KHS offered Sculpture to it’s pupils under the supervision of talented young educator, Bekkie Wasserman. Top accolades went to Paris Wicks who managed an 89 per cent average.
