The perpetrators of a house breaking case were successfully apprehended due to the diligent work of Detective Constable Chavalala.
Chavalala was sent a tip-off by community members at 7.30am on 4 March after which he investigated the matter and managed to arrest a suspect later that night.
“The stolen property was recovered by the police on 5 March in the early morning hours at the second suspect’s house,” says Krugersdorp Police station spokesperson Constable Tshepiso Mashale.
The second suspect was also apprehended and taken into police custody.
Stolen goods which include a Sony plasma TV, a Playstation and a hard drive were found in his possession.
The suspects already appeared in the Krugersdorp Magistrates’ Court.
