The police has sent out a photo of a wanted man named George who is needed to help solve a crime that took place nearly two years ago.
“We are appealing to members of the community to assist us with information or any form of the location of this man,” urges Kagiso police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Solomon Sibiya.
This follows after a woman was stabbed in Soul City late at night on 16 August 2013, with another woman being raped just minutes later. George has useful information that can assist with the investigation of the two incidents which is possibly connected.
“Anyone who knows the whereabouts of George must immediately inform the investigating officer Warrant Officer Redley of the Krugersdorp FCS (Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences unit) by calling 079 091 7751. George is also requested to call the investigating officer urgently.”
