Police and public work together after murder

Two suspects were arrested after the police and the community came together after a man was found murdered.

Two suspects were arrested on 19 March following a complaint of alleged assault at the Ruimsig informal settlement.

The suspect who are aged 27 and 34 were arrested and briefly appeared in Krugersdorp Magistrates’ Court where they were charged for murder.

It is believed that the police found a man in a pool of his own blood as they arrived at the gruesome scene.

Stab wounds were noticed on the victim’s upper body as police proceeded to investigate the matter.

The victim was certified dead by paramedics at the scene.

Sergeant Moraba and his team worked tirelessly around the clock with the assistance of the public who brought valuable information forward leading to the arrest of the two suspects.

“The station commander of Muldersdrift Lieutenant Colonel KD Seabi praised the good work and dedication between the members of the public and Detective Sergeant Moraba that led to the arrest of the suspects,” comments spokesperson for the Muldersdrift police station, Hitler Ngwenya.
