A man was sentenced to 15 years in prison after he was found guilty of the murder.
Bennet Midzi confessed to the murder of Siyabonga Centwa. Midzi committed the crime in January 2014.
Constable Lucky Matome, a police spokesperson said the court was informed that Midzi was dumped by his girlfriend who then started to date or have a love affair with the Centwa.
“Midzi did not like the fact that he was dumped for Centwa and that led him to attack and stab him in the upper body which ultimately led to his death.”
Matome said the police investigated the matter and managed to help in solving the case which ensured a successful conviction.
