The mystery that surrounds the sudden disappearance of a local troublemaker in Mindalore has became even more mysterious.
The person had a reputation as a drug addict who caused fights in bars and taverns in the area on a regular basis.
The Sector 9 Community Policing Forum (CPF) members encountered his bad behaviour several times, since he and his family were squatting in a room where the old roadhouse in Mindalore used to be.
The troublemaker, only known as Dylan who is in his early 20s, disappeared over the weekend of 28 March.
Talk on the street suggests that Dylan got involved in a bar fight after which he went to hospital to receive treatment.
After being discharged from hospital, he disappeared.
Bar patrons and car watch patrollers told the News that Dylan was stabbed and shot on Sunday night, 29 March and that he had passed away.
However, it seems the rumours were untrue and new information came to light that Dylan is in fact in jail. According to a local CPF member, who does not want to be identified, it is alleged that his mother went to beg for money in Mindalore to get him out of jail.
The News visited Dylan’s estranged grandmother, who lives in Mindalore, who is uncertain of the whereabouts of her troublemaker grandson.
Dylan’s grandmother has had no contact with her grandson or his mother since they have only brought shame to the family name.
Theft and drugs form the reputation of the troublemaker who is infamously known in the area.
The News is still investigating the matter and waiting for police comment. Readers will be kept informed of this developing story.
