Sculpture fair a day of great food and wine

Expect a day of great food and wine in a beautiful outdoor setting.

Over the weekend of 9 and 10 May, the acclaimed Nirox Sculpture Park in Kromdraai will be transformed into a contemporary wonderland, with larger-than-life sculptures dotted across the landscape, creating the ideal background for a social marketplace.

Following their success with the FNB Joburg Art Fair and Sanlam Investments Handmade Contemporary Fair, Artlogic decided to create a new event that offers Krugersdorpers an opportunity for a day out of the city.

The success of the past two year’s Winter Sculpture Fair proves this is the perfect day trip, where discerning visitors can enjoy good food, wine and art, in a spectacular setting with friends and family.

The Nirox Sculpture Park, the first of its kind in Gauteng, offers a relaxing atmosphere in which to enjoy an art form the general public does not enjoy often.

The 15 hectare, lush expanse of land that once was a commercial trout farm now offers an impressive display of world-class sculptures amid a sea of greenery, complete with walkways and water features.

Artlogic have partnered with Franschhoek to bring the town’s top chefs and wine producers to Johannesburg, thus creating an unmatched culinary experience. Expect a day of great food and wine in a beautiful outdoor setting.

Limited tickets will be available at the door, so book online to prevent disappointment. Children 12 and under enter for free. No pets are allowed. No refreshments to be brought into the event, as food and drink will be sold on site by Franschhoek exhibitors.
