Yeehaw! Giddy-up down to the Wild West Fest

Food tasting from the era and a mini amusement park for the children are part of this festive occasion.

Silverstar’s Wild West Country Fest will take you back to the 1880 and 1890’s when the West Rand was a mining town and men from as far afield as Canada, Australia, Cornwall and the Netherlands as well as Kimberley and Pilgrims Rest arrived to pitch their tents and stake their claim.

It was a wild place!

These early roughnecks spent their nights in saloons and gambling dens dotted around the diggings.

This unique festival at Silverstar promises a theatrical and thoroughly entertaining event reminiscent of those early pioneering days on the West Rand with beer halls, smokey saloons and wine bars, which will complement the captivating mood of this nostalgic environment.
