Zoey’s memory lives on through organisation
Today, still very much crushed by her daughter's death, Mandy is making a difference in her community.
Almost three years ago the Joubert couple experienced the worst day of their lives.
Their four-year-old daughter sustained a fatal head injury when she fell and hit her head against a concrete step.
Needless to say Mandy Joubert’s world collapsed after doctors told her that her daughter was gone.
Today, still very much crushed by her daughter’s death, Mandy is making a difference in her community after establishing the Sharing is Caring organisation in her daughter Zoey’s honour.
On Sunday 7 June her organisation will host a Beautiful Ladies Brunch at Engedi in aid of the Mug and Tree Organisation in Krugersdorp West.
All proceeds from this year’s fundraiser will be donated to Mug and Tree to assist in their efforts to establish a safe house and baby drop box.
“Please come and join us for a happy pink morning with delicious food and good company in memory of a precious Angel,” Mandy said.
Tickets to the brunch fundraiser are R300 per person and guest speaker Janine Carley-James will address the women.
“The theme for the brunch is My authentic self. There will be lots of prizes to be won, awesome goodie bags and raffle tickets to buy.”
To book your seat, email Mandy at mandy.sharingiscaring@gmail.com or contact her on 082 5598 646 and help make a difference.
