Two suspects were arrested by the Tarlton Police for being in possession of suspected stolen copper cables in Matshela, Tarlton.
Warrant Officer Lucky Matome, a police spokesperson said police were busy with patrols when they saw the two suspects, one of them carrying a backpack.
“The suspects were then arrested. When police opened the backpack, they found copper cables worth approximately R15 000.”
Both suspects will make a brief appearance in the Krugersdorp Magistrates’ Court soon, facing charges of suspected stolen property.
