The men were arrested last Thursday 4 June in Tshepisong after they went into hiding but with the help of community members police were able to identify them.
Warrant Officer Solomon Sibiya, a police spokesperson says one suspect was arrested hours after the crime took place more than five months ago.
He said police received a complaint a of a shooting at shop in Tshepisong in January and on arrival they found the deceased’s cousin.
“The cousinĀ told police that a bakery truck arrived while he was at the back. The deceased was allegedly inside the shop to accept the order when three armed men suddenly appeared and ordered the truck crew, shop employees and customers into the shop.”
Sibiya said the suspects thereafter demanded and robbed them of an undisclosed amount of cash and cell phones at gun point.
“They then shot and killed the shop owner before fleeing the scene on foot.”
