Character training event shows great sportmanship
It was a fun-filled day and in the spirit of 'My horse is My greatest asset'.
The Western Riding Academy hosted an ‘M’ training show for their riders.
Riders had to dress in any outfit starting with an M.
The yard was filled early the morning with mad hatters, magicians, Mexicans, mafia members, motorbike riders, Men in Black and Mickey and Minnie Mouse characters. It was a fun-filled day and in the spirit of ‘My horse is My greatest asset’.
Riders as young as 18 months and over 50 competed for a rosette. There were different classes on the day: Trail, Horsemanship, Western Dressage, Extreme Equestrian Trail Organisation (EETO) and Freestyle Reining.
After the successful event in May, the young riders were spoiled with a Lucky Dip.
