R450 000 stolen, police a no-show
Local business owners are worried police are not doing enough to solve a business robbery.

A business suffered a loss of R450 000 during a robbery.
“We have CCTV footage showing how they got into the office from where they took goods and cash to the value of R450 000,” the business owner told the News.
EPR Security was first on the scene and they contacted Krugersdorp Police.
The owners said they have footage of the incident, which can help police with their investigation.
“Six weeks after the robbery, I went to the police station with pictures and video footage.”
One owner, recently released from hospital, received a phone call from one of the employees who was held at gunpoint, informing him they had been robbed.
“We asked the police if we could give a statement the following morning, because I was not feeling well.”
The owners claim the officer accused them the following morning of not wanting to cooperate with police.
Sergeant Tshepiso Mashale, spokesperson for the Krugersdorp police said the investigating officer who is working on this case, recently made contact with the owner.
