Young man hospitalised after bar fight

A young man was rushed to hospital after a bar fight broke out in a popular pub and grill in Krugersdorp North on Friday, 10 July.

Community Policing Forum members of Sector 3 along with paramedics received a call out at approximately 8.10pm when the fight broke out.

It is believed that a group of 9 young men attacked a 23 year-old man and started beating and kicking him.

The Krugersdorp police was also called to scene to intervene.

Within minutes the fight was stopped and the victim was taken to hospital for further medical treatment.

The  23-year-old was allegedly admitted to the Garden City hospital with a serious head injury which caused bleeding to the brain.
