Young man found dead near night club
A silver blanket covered the body of the young man who passed away in the middle of the road.
The body of a 21-year-old man was discovered after he allegedly passed out in his vehicle in the middle of the street.
Members of the Sector 5 Community Policing Forum received a call-out on Saturday night, 18 July around midnight after a young man appeared to be passed out in his car in the middle of Rustenburg Road in Krugersdorp West opposite an infamous night club.
On arrival at the scene the young man was removed from his vehicle by the first respondents who immediately noted he had no pulse.
The respondents started implementing CPR on the young man, which was taken over by the Netcare 911 paramedics, who arrived on the scene shortly after.
Despite their efforts, Timmy Wilson was pronounced dead at 1am on 19 July.
A resident from the area who was woken up by the noise from the sirens took to social media around 12.51am to ask if there was an accident close by.
Quickly comments started pouring in with various suggestions of causes of death which including a chocking incident.
It seems that Wilson was not at the night club that night, but was rather making his way back home from a friend’s house when he had an alleged heart attack.
Wilsons’ mother and grandmother were called to the scene to identify his body.
“We would like to thank Netcare 911 for their quick response and good service along with the CPF Sector 4’s medical response team who responded to the call out,” comments Sector 5’s spokesperson, Deon Steyn.
