Woman arrested for assault
A woman was arrested for attacking her boyfriend's friend.
Assault will not solve any problems, says Tarlton Police’s Lieutenant Colonel AM Molefi.
This came after a 24-year-old woman was arrested for assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
The woman was apprehended after the incident took place on Madiba Day.
“The suspect had a quarrel with her boyfriend. The boyfriend’s friend tried to intervene and that was when she redirected her anger towards him. She attacked him with an object, resulting in upper-body injuries,” Constable Lucky Matome, Tarlton Police Spokesperson, explained.
The 24-year-old suspect is expected to appear before the Krugersdorp Magistrates’ Court soon.
