Three suspects wanted for attempted murder
Police are searching for three men who robbed one and shot another resident in Kagiso.
The early morning hours of 1 August saw a traumatic experience for two neighbours awoken by fake police officers.
One of the victims told the police that three males knocked down and forced open the door of his shack. He explained that two of the men had firearms while the other carried a knife.
“They then robbed the complainant of his two cell phones and an undisclosed amount of money,” Lucky Matome, Krugersdorp Police Cluster Spokesperson, said.
Matome added that the victim’s neighbour came to his aid, only to be shot in his lower body by one of the suspects.
“He was taken to the nearest hospital for medical attention and is now still recovering.”
The suspects went on to further assault another nearby resident. The suspects fled the scene on foot taking with them the items they stole.
