Child runs into car while crossing the road

A 15 year old girl was injured after crossing the road.

Emergency vehicles and Community Policing Forum members responded to a scene where a school child was injured while crossing the road.

A 15 year old girl from Nic Diederichs was injured when she attempted to cross the road from the school to the shop on the corner and was hit by a vehicle at 7.30 am this morning on 27 August.

It is believed the pupil ran in front of the car while crossing the road and was then hit on her right leg.

CPF Sector 3 immediately responded to the scene with Mogale City Emergency Services following soon after.

The girl sustained minor injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for further medical treatment.
