R2 000’s illegal drugs confiscated
Police arrested a man and confiscated dagga with a R2 000 street value.

A suspect has been arrested for dealing with dagga of an estimated street value of R2 000 at the Ga Mogale Informal Settlement in Magaliesburg.
“The officers were in the process of a crime prevention campaign when they received a tip-off from one of the members of the community,” Constable Rebecca Phithi, police spokeswoman, said.
They immediately followed up on the information, leading them to the suspect’s arrest. The police found that he not only used the substance, but illegally dealt with it.
On 27 August, Sergeant Minnies and Constable Makhatshu arrested the 30-year-old and confiscated 120 small packets of dagga in his house.
The suspect will appear at Krugersdorp Magistrates’ Court soon and will be face charges of dealing in an illegal substance.
