Wined and dined by students

Guvon Academy offers a wide variety of accredited training programmes, national certificate programmes, skills programmes, workshop programmes and short courses.

Guvon Academy hosted a food and wine show to showcase the hospitality students’ knowledge and skills.

The event was held at the Coachman venue at Glenburn Lodge at the end of August.

Guests enjoyed live entertainment by Ruan Weppener from Pretoria while enjoying some cheese and wine. Guests also indulged in a delectable buffet of delicious cuisine, made by the talented chef students.

Guvon Academy, based at Glenburn Lodge, offers a wide variety of accredited training programmes, national certificate programmes, skills programmes, workshop programmes and short courses.

On successful completion of the qualification/ programme students receive a South African National Certificate and a Certificate of Practical completion.

During the food and wine show, a cooking demonstration was done by the academy chef students, led by the executive chef.

The event students also showcased and demonstrated DIY decor to guests on the day.
