Calling all businesses to the bowling green

For a long time Krugersdorp Bowling Club has been committed to serving the Krugersdorp community.

They have been providing community members with exercise, companionship, fun, social interaction, friendship, networking opportunities, competitions, health and vitality for 99 years.

As the new bowling season approaches and the bowling greens are being readied for the opening in October, interest and excitement about the business league starting at Krugersdorp Bowling Club are building. Space is limited! For our first year we are planning for a maximum of three divisions of six teams.

This equates to five weeks of competition and two weeks of playoff between the top four teams (the top team from each division and the remaining team with the highest score). This equates to almost two months of competition and practice.

What is included in the business league?

• League members can book with the coaches for training.

• League teams can use their facilities for practice and arrange with one of their coaches to be shown how to practice effectively.

• Spectators, employees and family members are welcome to come along and watch, and make use of the club’s facilities during league games.

• Building team spirit and networking with other businesses.

• All teams are invited for the prizegiving.

• All team members can become social members of the club at a discounted price. As social members the team members can join all club activities excluding member bowls and competitive bowls.

• All team members can join the club as full members at a discounted price. This includes all competitive, district and national competitions.

• Teams are encouraged to have a team uniform of matching caps and shirts.

• Teams can bring movable advertising and advertise for free during league games.

• Other advertising opportunities are available on the premises.
