Drug scare outside a local preschool
Local preschool staff call police after finding a suspicious bag.
Krugersdorp Police members were deployed to a preschool early this morning (8 October) after a shocking discovery was made.
On arrival at the preschool on Voortrekker Road police were directed to a suspicious bag on the pavement close to the school.
While inspecting the bag, police found syringes and spoons in a pencil case.
The News contacted Sergeant Tshepiso Mashale, Krugersdorp Police spokesperson who denied rumours of drugs found at the preschool.
Mashale, however, did confirm that the paraphernalia will be booked in at the SAP 13 at the police station.
Police members will visit the preschool soon to do a presentation on drugs to educate the pupils.
