Suspicious character gets violent when a resident photographs him to warn others.

A Krugersdorp resident wishes to warn the community about two suspicious characters in the Krugersdorp North area.

On Sunday morning Charmaine Further stopped on Fourth Street to go do some shopping. After finishing her shopping, Further and her son waited for his grandmother in their vehicle, which was parked under the trees opposite Fat Cake City.

While waiting, Further noticed in the rear-view mirror two unknown men approaching their vehicle.

She checked on her sick son who was laying on the backseat when she noticed one of the suspects had disappeared.

The next moment he was standing at the driver’s side.

Calmly she put her vehicle in gear and quickly drove away. She parked around the corner in front of the Bonanza Spar and decided to take photos of the two men who shortly afterwards appeared around the corner. One was hanging around the Spar and the other one headed towards the parking lot at the back.

She claimed the man who walked to the parking lot covered his face when she tried to take a photo of him. He later became violent towards her, swearing and showing signs at her.

After the two men eventually disappeared, Further approached the security guard at Spar who confirmed that they are two locals who regularly harass customers and beg for money.
