Premiers and mayors swing it for charity

The Gauteng Premier was part of the entourage that played golf in aid of NGOs.

It was a day on which executives showed off their skills on the golf course and funds were raised for local non-governmental organisations (NGOs).

The West Rand District Municipality (WRDM) Executive Mayor, Alderman Mpho Nawa hosted the inaugural Mayoral Charity Golf Day on Friday 13 November at the Krugersdorp Golf Club.

“The objective of the event was to raise funds for community-based NGOs on the West Rand,” Amanda Segopolo, WRDM communications officer said in a press release.

“The day was blessed by business owners and entrepreneurs who contributed towards making the event a success,” she said.

The mayor would like to thank Crimson King Developments and Ulwembu Business Services for sponsoring the event.
