Five distinctions for home scholar

Local Krugersdorp home scholar matriculated with five distinctions.

Local homeschooling pupil, Kayla Torrinha boasts with nearly six distinctions in the 2015 matric exams.

Kayla enrolled at the Epsilon Academic Support Centre in Noordheuwel in 2014 where she was taught according to the Impak Homeschool Curriculum and matriculated with five distinctions and missing the sixth by one per cent.

She graduated as the top Impak matriculant of 2015 and has enrolled at the University of Pretoria where she will be studying Psychology.

Her five distinctions include Afrikaans, Mathematical Literacy, Tourism, Life Science and Life Orientation.

She also was awarded by Epsilon with the Girl of the Year title for being the most hard-working pupil with good manners and a lovely personality.

“I am extremely proud of Kayla and all the other matriculant achievers. At our center we pride ourselves with excellence and developing young future leaders,” Helene Constanti, head of Epsilon said.
