One dies on the road of death

One person died when a sedan and a bakkie collided in Tarlton on Saturday night, 20 February.

The accident happened at the corner of the R24 and Ventersdorp road which has no stop signs.

All four passengers, including a child, in the sedan were hospitalised. The driver of the sedan was allegedly slightly injured.

Sadly, a passenger in the bakkie lost his life.

Spokesperson of Tarlton Police station, Constable Lucky Matome confirms the accident.

“A case of culpable homicide has been opened and investigations are currently underway,” he told the News.
