Help Mr SA revamp the children’s court
Mr South Africa will be at the Krugersdorp Magistrates' Court tomorrow afternoon and could use your help.
Mr South Africa, Armand du Plessis, and other volunteers will attempt to revamp the children’s court waiting room at the Krugersdorp Magistrates’ Court to make it feel more “kid-friendly”.
“We will start painting the room at 4.30pm tomorrow afternoon (18 March) and we could do with a few extra hands,” he said.
Armand started working at a law firm this year as a candidate attorney after completing his degree at the University of Pretoria. He accompanied a lawyer to the court and there he saw the need to make the children’s court feel more welcoming.
“We want to provide children with a better experience if they need to come to court,” he said.
The team will paint, hang curtains, set up a play area and refurbish the waiting room tomorrow and if you want to help, you can contact Armand by sending him an email to armand607@hotmail.com.
