Families treated by local organisation
Naomi Ministries reached out to the community with a fun-filled day.
Young and old, friends and families came together at the newly renovated park in Appel Park for a day of fun.
The team of the Naomi Ministries hosted a fun day in the park with good food, fun, games and worship on 19 March.

The day was filled with various activities as the children played on various obstacle courses and even had the opportunity to have their faces painted.
Adele de Beer, current Mrs Gauteng also joined in on the fun along with volunteers from Naomi Ministries.

Children’s cheers and the smell of boerewors filled the air as music played in the background.
Gerhard and Charmaine Tomè have been working in this area for the past couple of years and have decided to visit once again to reach out to the community.

“Through our outreaches we are able to get in touch with the un-churched and needy. We then have the opportunity to disciple them through our cell groups, prayer cells and children’s ministry. We give underprivileged residents the opportunity to join our equipping school at no charge because our Lord Jesus Christ is very serious about His Saints being supernaturally equipped and matured to the level of Christ’s ministry and maturity,” Charmaine explained.

The fun day then had a brief break where everyone received a delicious lunch, refreshments and sweets after which the fun continued.
“We would like to thank all the sponsors, the entertainment, Adele de Beer, everyone who gave a helping hand. You made a difference in many lives,” Charmaine concluded.
