R10 000 boost from drinking juice
A local resident's bank account received a boost after winning a competition.
A lucky resident had the receipt that made her R10 000 richer in a national competition.
The bank account of Chenè Bredenhann, who lives in Krugersdorp North got a huge boost when she was announced the winner of the Cash Crush Competition that was launched in November. Customers could enter for the cash prize by purchasing two Crushers of their choice from any Boost Juice franchise in South Africa and posting a photo of their till slip on the Boost Juice Facebook page and holding on to their lucky ticket.
The competition closed at the end of February and one lucky winner was announced at the beginning of March.
A team of the Boost Juice representatives along with Krugersdorp’s franchise owner, Yolanda Lowe met up with Chenè to hand over the larger-than-life cheque at her favourite shop in Key West Shopping Centre on 22 March.
“Boost Juice is having fun in a healthy way. It is amazing to have something so healthy that tastes so good,” Wian Smith from Boost Juice Marketing said.
Chenè, who is a die-hard juice lover said that she loves juice and that any juice with coconut and watermelon is her absolute favourite.
“I never thought in a million years I would win. I simply entered on Facebook and held on tight to my slip.”
Because Chenè and her partner had just moved into a new house, most of the money will be used to pay off some debt from renovations.
“Thank you so much to each and every customer who continues to support a small business such as this. Let’s cross fingers that the next winner will be from Krugersdorp again,” Yolanda said.
